With deep roots in the forestry industry since 1966, HHP has created a multi-faceted forest products company that prides itself on quality, consistency and family values. Nestled just off Route 202 & 9, the Henniker, NH headquarters is home to our state-of-the-art hardwood sawmill, paper-quality chip plant, and pallets manufacturing facility.
With humble beginnings by Ross D'Elia & Richard Carrier in 1989. We purchased the original Henniker Hardwood Pallets, a family-owned business that began in 1966. This was the cornerstone for setting the foundation for future expansion, building the cutting-edge facility that you see here today. Following Ross's retirement and keeping with tradition, HHP expanded its reach to include Marco & Joseph Carrier in 2018 to continue the family-owned business. Having the Carrier family name has always been associated with loyalty and integrity. Their legacy continues as they strive to expand in development, while optimizing efficiency and sustainability, with a skilled and dedicated workforce hand selected from top talents in the industry.
We continue to build a company that strives to be a virtually NO waste facility, thanks to its chipping, sawdust, and firewood activities. The synergistic relationship between the three primary aspects of our business - our hardwood sawmill, roundwood chip plant and our pallet manufacturing facility - enables HHP to streamline operations and cut costs while ensuring a steady flow of raw material and finished product. Proud to be pursuing sustainability, HHP recognizes how important it is that our business principles extend upstream and downstream to fulfill the valued expectations of our customers and the world around us.
Safety is our top priority.
As members of the timber and wood products industries, our jobs entail many safety and environmental concerns. Awareness of these issues and our ability to respond to changing situations and market conditions has enabled us to succeed in an evolving marketplace.
