Hardwood Lumber
Mill
HHP’s state-of-the-art hardwood sawmill is the cornerstone of our 44-acre consolidated operations site in Henniker, New Hampshire. The sawmill produces over 13 million board feet of green and kiln-dried lumber per year, using a system that is designed to maximize grade recovery and ensure our customers’ satisfaction. Our central location in the southern tier of New Hampshire, better known as the “Red Oak Basket”, enables us to utilize the hardwood timber native to our area, primarily Northern Red Oak, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, as well as White Birch, Ash and Yellow Birch.

Our highly experienced sawmill staff consists of over 250 years of experience. The dedicated labor force combined with our continually updated equipment and systems enables HHP Inc. to be consistent in both production and costs.
As we continue to turn logs into wood products, we understand the importance of being innovative. The modern sawmill is largely automated and efficient, incorporating advanced machinery to improve production and providing lumber when and where you want it, building a lasting relationship with all our customers.
To ensure consistency and integrity, every board is graded by multiple NHLA certified inspectors, scanned, vision tallied, and export prepped. HHP products can be loaded, document-export-prepped and arrive at the Port of Boston, Massachusetts in one hour from the mill.
