Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic

HHP Inc., is seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team in Henniker, NH, where they will be responsible for a variety of mechanical duties, including routine service, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors, trailers, and other heavy equipment.   • Perform routine service, repairs, and preventive maintenance on company trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Complete repair work orders and related paperwork, ensuring they are turned in weekly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform basic diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, anticipating needs and communicating orders to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance tracking reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


  • Valid State issued driver’s license.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technician.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, electrical and diesel engines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety.

Job Type



Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. Weekends as needed.

CDL-A Truck Driver


HHP Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL-A Truck Driver to support our Sawmill Operation in Henniker, New Hampshire. Our headquarters, located just off RT. 202 & 89, is home to our hardwood sawmill, pallet shop, and paper-quality chipping plant. We offer a competitive wage, flexible first shift hours, and year-round employment with no weekend work. We believe in taking care of our employees so they can take care of our customers.


  • Ensure punctuality and dependability in daily operations.
  • Drive a tractor trailer and/or tri-axle with wagon.
  • Comfortably navigate highways, by-ways, country roads, and log landings.
  • Perform pick up and delivery to various locations throughout New England.


  • Valid NH CDL-A driver license.
  • Compliance with all DOT rules and regulations.
  • Ability to pass DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • Experience in heavy hauling and familiarity with tree species and products is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and good communication skills.
  • Experience in operating heavy equipment or log crane is a plus.
